SOLUTION / TWIN HORN

Pay by bank for eligible merchants

A phone-led checkout can help customers pay directly from a linked bank account when a provider supports the merchant and its business activity.

A QR code and a bank-account connection are parts of the customer experience, not a promise that every POS or business qualifies. Twin Horn begins with the merchant, the state, and the proposed payment provider.

01

Map the checkout

We document where the order starts, how the customer authorizes the bank payment, what the cashier sees, and how the order is marked paid. A provider may offer a native POS integration or a separate checkout. We confirm which arrangement exists before planning deployment.

02

Understand the money movement

The provider and its banking partners determine verification, transaction timing, settlement, refunds, returns, limits, and reserve terms. Bank payments can be returned or disputed under applicable rules. The merchant should see the written terms before accepting payments.

03

Prepare the team

We test the customer instructions, cancellation path, receipts, reconciliation, and staff escalation route. A smooth scan only helps when the register and settlement records can be matched.

QUESTIONS THAT MATTER

Good answers make
better decisions.

Is scanning a QR code the same as tapping a debit card?

No. A QR bank payment is a separate flow from card-network tap or PIN debit. The actual method must be described accurately to customers.

Will bank payments eliminate returns?

No. The provider agreement and applicable rules govern returns and disputes.
